“GEOMETRY WILL DRAW THE SOUL TOWARD TRUTH AND CREATE THE SPIRIT OF PHILOSOPHY.”
Personally, when I was in school, other than basic mathematics, geometry was the only thing that made sense to me. Algebra seemed overly-complicated, while trigonometry and calculus were only extensions of geometry. Being the type of person that needs something clearly laid out and hands on, geometry was much simpler for me to understand than the complexities of algebraic expressions and the like. When it comes down to it, however, all mathematics is a form of geometry. The sole purpose for mathematics is to take a measurement-whether the measurement is of time, space, distance, quantity, etc.
At the basis of everything, you will find numbers, in which we call Numerology. Numerology is very much related to Sacred Geometry-just as basic mathematics is related to geometry. If you have heard of, (and I’m quite sure you have) Nikola Tesla or Pythagoras, you may be surprised to know that these two are major influences in the rise in information and understanding of both Numerology and Sacred Geometry.
If you’d like to learn more about Numerology, you can do that here.
So, What is SACRED Geometry?
Before you ever come into the world, you’re a fetus; and before you’re a fetus, you are an embryo; and before you’re an embryo, you’re a zygote. This is basic biology and it is very similar for every living thing in the world. The cellular structure of all living things is, in fact, sacred geometry– whether it be a flower, an elephant, or a human.
Think about the structure of DNA. A double-stranded helix is two spirals that are bonded by the bases: adenine, cytosine, guanine, and thymine. All of these things have separate jobs and all of these things have separate shapes as well.
Take a look:
Many philosophers believe(d) that numbers are the language of the god(s). Why? Because numbers are literally everywhere. Although you can’t always see them, they’re there. In music, architecture, color scales, vibration/sound, time, religious texts, data and technology, science of all categories, history, art, even language(s), etc., numbers will be found on some level. This may sound odd at first, but numbers and geometry help us to understand not only ourselves on a deeper level, but existence and the evolution of consciousness.
During my spiritual awakening, many times, I would dream of shapes I had never seen before. Coming to me in more complex forms than what I knew possible, I began to see them in relation to things that had always been a part of my everyday life; such as the rippling of water. I pondered the simplicity of a circle surrounded by other circles moving outward and then coming back toward the middle until it finally stopped.
Suddenly, I had an interest for pyramids and had done an extensive amount of research regarding them-from watching documentaries to drawing them when I was bored to reading about their structure in texts on architecture. I wasn’t exactly sure where this sudden peak (pun intended) in my interest came from exactly, but I was hungry for the knowledge of the subject.
The most interesting thing I found regarding them was that the stones at the top of the Egyptian pyramids were older on the top and newer on the bottom (from the inside out-mind you). Because of this, many archeologists believed that the pyramids were somehow made from the top-down and not from the bottom-up like most people would believe. Not only older, but over a thousand or more years older!
One day, I went into a CBD/Hemp shop and right behind the clerk standing at the counter, there sat on his shelf a very small pyramid. I asked him about it and he told me that he had built that one himself. He had many different types of stones and crystals inside of it for various reasons.
Although it was beautiful, I was mostly interested in one thing. I asked him, “How did you build this exactly, sir? From the top-down or from the bottom-up?” And honestly, I was both surprised and also not surprised by his answer.
He replied, “From the top-down.“
Now, allow yourself to wonder why that may be and how that would be possible for much larger pyramids like those in Giza, Egypt and during a time when they didn’t have cranes, nor wheels- nothing but slaves and copper-made chisels.
Sure, you could argue that just because that one guy built a very small model from the top-down doesn’t mean that that’s how the Pyramids of Giza were built, but then again, this doesn’t explain how the top stones are older than the stones on the bottom, does it?
I no longer believe in coincidences. (For many reasons).
If you want to learn more about sacred geometry, you’ll have to stick around on the labyrinth. Next time I write on the subject, I want to show you guys the incredible flower of life, which is my favorite shape in sacred geometry of them all! Inside of it, you will find the cell division that we discussed at the beginning of this blog, as well as some amazing history that includes it being found in ancient places from all over the world! You won’t believe it until you see it!
Stick around to see it for yourself!
